History/Background: Grew up with a middle class family, not poor, yet not rich. She has two other siblings, her 16 year old brother, Yoshimo, and her 6 year old sister, Myoki. As a young child, around the age of 4, she got her first puppet, consistantly playing with it. Ever since then she has had an interest. When she was 8 she was told about the Puppeteers, and how she was destined to be in that clan. At the age of 10, she was sent off to train with other puppeteers. She now lives with her family after a year of learning basic puppet moves. Her parents own a small market, just outside of the village. At age 7, her house set on fire, when her brother was trying to make toast, for her parents anniversary. They were homeless for awhile, living with her aunt. At age 9 they found a new home in Kirigakure, they lived there for about half a year then moved back to Sunagakure. They now live in a small house, on top of a hill, close to the Kazekage's tower. When she came back from training with other puppeteers, she was rewarded with a new puppet, named Kairai. She normally carries him around with her, in a bandaged up pack slung around her back. She doesnt like to show him to people, because of the way he looks. Kairai, has one busted eye, from when she was playing around with him and he fell on the ground.

At age 11, she successfully passed the chuunin exams.

At age 12, she stayed with her parents, only for a year. She went on various missions, and was taught new jutus's. She trained mostly with her puppet, still using the one had made for her. She began to become more skilled, faster and more talented. She was adapting quickly, too quickly. But as the year went on she began to learn slower, not as quickly. She normally caused a bit of trouble, fighting with one of the clothing merchants. Later on that year, she broke her leg, attempting a new jutsu.

At age 13, she left her parents again, not wanting to disappoint them if anything went bad. She traveled a lot, even young. She managed to get a small job, being payed minimum wage, as a deliverer at a local flower shop. She traveled to Kirigakure, revisiting her aunt and uncle. Her uncle then made her another puppet, even better than the steel one she already possessed. This one was made out of metal, pure metal. It contained more hatches, and looked almost like her, just shinier. It had the same shade of hair, black with rainbow streaks, with the same shaped mouth. The eyes were wider, a pale shade of green. She began to train with it more often. She stayed in Kirigakure for a few months, meeting new pwople, but not making friends, for she knew she would be traveling again.

As she turned 14, she left Kirigakure, returning back to Sunagakure, and her friends. She began to train once more. Training was her life at this point, she didn’t see anything to do other than train and to become stronger. She was selfish at this time, not caring much about others, not her friends or family. Occasionally she would go hang out, but mostly she just trained. She stayed in a small apartment, and returned to her job as the flower deliverer. She saved her money, hoping to buy more weapons, to store inside her puppet. Ume never did care much for money, or love or even friendship. She was more focused on what she thought was more important, power. It had taken her over, and that’s all she wanted. She craved for power to be exact, so she pushed herself to the limit, nearly dying from the jutsus she experimented with.

Once 15, she began to forget about friends and family. She traveled to Kumogakure, meeting new people. While there she met a man with no name. He taught her many lessons of life. She then realized that while she had been obsessing over power, she had been ignoring the bigger things like friends, family, and love. She returned home as quickly as possible, running to her mother and father. She thanked them for everything they had done and apologized for leaving. She began to thank her old friends, saying sorry too. She then began to be kind to people, always thinking of them first. She no longer crazed over power, she was a new person, a new Arisu. She felt as if a weight had been lifted off her, now feeling free. She was happy with herself, for not feeling trapped. After a while of thinking, she decided she wanted to become the first female Kazekage. She began to train again, this time equaling her training time with her friends and family time.

At age 16, she began to improve her jutsus. She once again left Sunagakure, and returning to Kirigakure, where she again visited her aunt and uncle. While there, she began to make new friends, learning more, and controlling her actions. She then met a girl names Samishii, Kumori, who she remember from when she was 11. Her and Kumori became good friends, even though they were three years apart in age. They trained together, and Kumori helped Arisu control her chakra better. Later that year, Arisu's uncle decided she was ready to learn a S-Rank jutsu, only known by the great puppeteers. The technique was called Aka Higi, Red Secret Technique: Performance of a Hundred Puppets". She had heard of the technique before, over hearing a few puppeteers talk about how they wanted to learn it. After her uncle had shown it to her she attempted the jutsu, failing horribly. She began to train more, trying to get the jutsu down. She finally stopped, knowing she wasn’t ready for such a jutsu as itself. She returned back home again, knowing she wasn’t going to stay for long. She was preparing for the jounin exams, readying herself for anything. She knew that they would be next year when she was finally 17. As the year went on, she began training again, specifically only on that one technique. She had got it down mostly, just not to perfection, which she had stored into a case. It reminded her of the past, of when she had been ignorant and selfish, which is one reason why she kept it. She liked the feeling of being changed, of not being the same person anymore. She was happy when she looked at it, knowing that if she ever lost it she would dive into a black void of sorrow.
As the year went on, she eventually turned 17, finally ready for the jounin exams. Before the jounin exams, she prepared herself, practicing her jutsus, taijutsu, and even the little genjutsu she knew. She was prepared, nervous, but prepared. She passed the jounin exams easily, using her new technique. After passing, she returned to Sunagakure, her home, the one placed she loved dearly. She began training again, going in missions and such. She was happier, now being a jounin and more content with life, knowing she was step closer to achieving her goal of becoming the first female Kazekage. She was excited, no ecstatic, because she could feel that she might just become the Kazekage. Not knowing when but, she just felt better. She began to help people more now, she saved a life or two in a few missions, here and there. She was happier than she had ever felt before. This was her time to shine, and show everybody what she was capable of. She always felt the need to show off a bit, but what girl didn’t. She never really thought of love, knowing it was something she didn’t feel ready for, because she hadn’t found that man yet.

When she turned 18, she began to develop more jutsus, such as Satetsu Shigure and Satetsu Kaihō. She began to perfect her techniques, trying to use them as little as possible. Ume preferred not to use such techniques, but used them only when necessary. Soon after, she learned how to create her own puppets. She made many, trying to make the perfect one, the one that looked most like her. She made a new one out of oak, and ore for the bolts. The puppet had the same body form, its chest pulled forward, a slim stomach, and small arms and legs. Its hair was black, not with the rainbow streaks but it was close enough. The eyes were a dark green, like the color of a new leaf in spring, just like hers. Its hatches, didn’t open as fast as she planned but it was better than nothing. Training with wasn’t as easy though. The weight and the balance was off. She decided to dispose of the puppet and ask her uncle to make a new one. Later that year she traveled back to Kirigakure, to go pick up her other new puppet, which looked exactly like the one she made, just more productive to use.

Once 19 she left the village for a year, moving to Kumogakure. While there, she was taught a few more jutsus, not taking interesting into them. Ume, missing Sunagakure, moved back before she planned to, knowing it was her rightful home. She began to take on a few students, puppeteers actually, and taught them her own tricks. She stayed with them for a few years, until she was 21, showing them everything she knew except for the higher ranked jutsus. Teaching them was fun, and helped her focus more on what was important. She felt like she was needed and looked up to. She felt that power in her soul that training could never bring. As the years went on, she still felt that power.

At age 20, she was still training the students, still showing them her style of fighting. That year she was sent on an important mission, where she had to stop a war from breaking out. Her and her team members successfully accomplished the mission. She had a few broken bones and a rib fracture, but got through it. Arisu did the usual and trained some more, most of the time she was training with her students though. As the year went by, she became more interested in what she was doing, and was enjoying teaching. She loved helping people, the feeling was more intense than she expected in the past years. Later on, she visited home again, telling her mother and father what pleasure it was to feel the way she did. She was happier than she had been before, not living in a life of sorrow, where power was the only thing that mattered.

As she turned 21, she let go of her student, for their time was up with her. They were heading to the chuunin exams and she was going with them to watch and cheer them on as they used the skills she had taught them. She then visited her uncle once more, having him teach her how to properly make puppets. Once she learned, she began to make then. One for each of her students, for when they passed the exams. When she came back to the village, she gave them their puppets and congradulated them, giving them hugs and all that other stuff. Her birthday was coming up and she was soon to be 22, one of her favorite numbers.

(If it says Ume anywhere i'm sorry.. I have another character who i'm used to using and I sometimes forget and write her name instead =P)
